The Ramkrishna Society - Anath Bhandar was established in the year 1904 by Swami Suddhananda, the fifth president of Ramakrishna Math and Mission as an abode for the orphan boys. Since then the organisation has been endeavouring hard to sustain and uplift the poor boys from the morass of despair and despondency to a state of reasonable amount of dignity in our present day society. Along with oprhan home we are conducting various social, medical and spiritual activities based on the Swami Vivekananda's ideology.
The Ramkrishna Society - Anath Bhandar was established in the year 1904, by Swami Suddhananda Maharaj, the fifth president of Ramakrishna Order, as an abode for orphan boys under presidentship of Swami Saradananda Maharaj, the first General Secretary of Ramakrishna Math & Mission. The main objective of the organisation is to maintain the poor, meritorious and orphan student and to place them in main stream of the society. The organisation tries its best to provide the inmates balanced diets, garments, all medical assistance and arrangements of education in all respect. The organisation started with two orphan boys in 1904 and at present is maintaining nearly 45 orphan and destitute boys. The Ramkrishna Society- Anath Bhandar tries to provide the inmates higher education and professional training as per individual merit.

The Founders of the Organisation, the direct disciples of Swami Vivekananda were enlightened and enriched by the philosophy of Sri Sri Ramakrishna and sparred by the clarion call of Swami Vivekananda.
The organisation has been sincerely trying to maintain the mission of the founders. Right from 1904, the benevolent organisation has been endeavouring hard to sustain and uplift the poor boys from the morass of despair and despondency to a state of reasonable amount of dignity in our present day society. We have been able to help more than 4000 poor and orphan boys, many of whom have become worthy citizen in the society later years.
The mission of the Society is to extend it's extensive service to the suffering humanity 'Loliest and the Lost', however meager it may be. All the activities of our mission are based on and inspired by the ideological observation of the great saint Swami Vivekananda.
